BOEING "J-RAILS" STYLE CUSTOM DESIGN
These rails was designed and produced under an order for a customer that owns a DC-10 seat, and in order to adapt it to his cockpit. In this way, we need to build an elevated platform, due that the DC-10 seat is shorter than the 737 one.
The rails are in "J" shape to allow the seat goes in the opposite way as the pedestal, to give more room to the pilot to acces to his seat, it have some holes to hold the seat on the desired position as the real ones.
Also, the seat slides smoothly because the bearings are installed on the carriage, assembled under the platform, between the rail and the platform itself, turning freely.
